These Terms are the general terms of the relationship between Cozi Cot Exclusive and you. These Terms cover the use of this Website, including any of our other marketing material. By visiting and using this Website, you accept and agree to these Terms. These Terms also cover any transactions (including any transaction carried out electronically using a computer or network, or in person) where we provide you with Goods or Services. The commercial terms of any transaction between us will be contained in an Order that will incorporate these Terms. The Order will prevail if there is a conflict of meaning. Nothing in these Terms obligates either party to enter into any Orders.

Remember that you must always comply with the Agreement. If you do not understand any terms, you must ask someone to explain them to you.

These general terms and any specific terms, form an agreement between you and us, so please make sure that you understand all of them.
Important terms that may limit our responsibility or involve some risk for you may be in bold and italics. You must pay special attention to these terms.

1. Acceptance of orders

Cozi Cot reserves the right to restrict the number of items available for sale to any individual customer. All orders are subject to availability. If your order cannot be fulfilled you may be offered an alternative or given a full refund. We accept payment by most major credit or debit cards. Full payment must be received by Cozi Cot before delivery will be booked or before order can be collected.

Dispatch times may vary according to availability and any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are limited to South Africa and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

We reserve the right to reject orders placed. You will be notified by email if that is the case and we will process a refund.

2. Price information

Cozi Cot has taken great care to ensure prices are accurate. Prices may change over time. Cozi has the right to change products and the prices at any time. If order was placed at an event of a special or discount as advertised you will be charged only that price.

4. Privacy Policy

By using this Website, you consent to the processing described therein and warrant that all data provided by you is accurate. You are giving your permission for us to contact you, if you enter your contact details, including your address, email address and / or phone number, by attempting to place an online order, whether completed or not, or you contact us with an enquiry. Such contact shall be restricted to matters directly related to your order or order attempt or enquiry.

5. Prohibitions

You must not miss use this Website. You will not: commit or encourage a criminal offence; transmit or distribute a virus, trojan, worm, logic bomb or post any other material which is malicious, technologically harmful, in breach of confidence or in any way offensive or obscene; hack into any aspect of the Service; corrupt data; cause annoyance to other users; infringe upon the rights of any other person’s proprietary rights; send any unsolicited advertising or promotional material, commonly referred to as “spam”; or attempt to affect the performance or functionality of any computer facilities of or accessed through this Website. Breaching this provision would constitute a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of this Website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

We request that our staff are treated with respect and we reserve the right to refuse to supply if any offensive comments are said or sent to our employees.

6. Accounts

You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that the password is kept confidential and secure and should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner.

7.1 Registration

Cozi Cot reserves the right to close accounts if any user is seen to be using proxy in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple accounts or disrupts any of our services in any way. If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting the community you may have action taken against all of your accounts.

7.2 Submission of material

By submitting any material to us, you automatically grant Cozi Cot the royalty-free, perpetual, exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such material (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.

We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (telephone number, home address, business address, delivery address or email address or any other details that would allow you to be personally identified) other than for the purposes of opening and registering an account.

8. Discount Codes

Account discount codes – Discount codes may from time to time be offered to account holders; such codes may only be applied to purchases made through the account in respect of which the discount code was offered and registered. Promotional discount codes – We may from time to time offer promotional discount codes which may apply in respect of any, or certain specified, purchases made though this Website.

9. Product Warranty

All products received must be checked and inspected within 14 days of receiving the product. If any manufacturing faults are found on the product, the situation will be investigated. If the damage was determined to be the manufactures fault the furniture will be replace if necessary or the panel that was damaged will be replaced. If any products are damaged by the client, Cozi Cot will not take responsibility of the damage. Cozi cot will help replace the panel on the clients own costs. If clients only inspects the product after 14 days of receiving the product, Cozi cot will investigate the situation and make a decision accordingly. After 14 days the product is seen as a second hand product and cannot be replaced by Cozi Cot.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Cozi Cot, its directors, officers, employees, consultants, agents, and affiliates, from any and all third party claims, liability, damages and/or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use on this website, use of any of our products or your breach of the Terms and Conditions.

11. Returns

Cozi Cot cannot accept returns. Product are as they appear on the website and can be view before purchase. Products can also be viewed at 13 Goede Hoop Road, Warehouse no 3, Olifantsfontein, Clayville. Before purchase make sure the product is what you want.

12. Waiver

If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

13. Usage

Please follow the guide assemble instructions on our website to assemble your Cozi Cot’s. Please only use the Cozi Cot products for its intended purpose. Please stop using the Cozi Cot as soon as your baby is able to sit up unaided, kneel, pull themselves up or crawl, move the base down or convert to a toddler bed, if so intended. Cozi Cot do not take any responsibility for any child injuries or death. Children that can lift themselves cannot be left alone in the cot and should be supervised by an Adult. The Cozi cot products are intended for sleep only, as soon as the child is awake he/she must be removed for the cot. Insure that all screws are tight before use. Test product before use.

14. Assembly

Cozi Cot products come with assemble video’s available on our website. Cozi Cot will not take any responsibility any damage done by assembling the cot wrong. If damage was done on the wood by hitting it with a hammer to hard (for instance the dowel, cam or pin) Cozi Cot will not be held responsible.

15. Collection / delivery

Cozi Cot can deliver the product ordered at an extra cost. Costing on this will be on the invoice. Delivery changes are subject to change and can be more that originally quoted. Cozi Cot cannot be held responsible for any damage to your product as soon as the product is collected by a courier company. The Courier Guy is Cozi Cot’s Courier service and we do not take responsibility on behalf of The Courier Guy. Cozi Cot will stipulate if you want insurance on your product for delivery. If insurance is included and any damage was done to the cot, the cot will be replaced by The Courier Guy company. The time period for this will determine on the investigation. If no insurance was take the client carry full responsibility for the product. In the case where only one panel was damaged, the client can send back the panel and it will be repaired and repainted at own cost.

16. Product material

Treat the Cozi Cot with care. It is built to last but needs to be used only for its intended purpose. Do not tilt, slide, push the Cozi Cot product. Weight limit is 25kg on all cots. When cleaning around the products please insure no water is spilt on or around the products as water can damage the wood. The wood used is a natural product and can change colour over time.

17. Liability

Cozi Cot’s liability is governed by South African law. Cozi Cot is not liable for any loss, damage, injury or death. The Cozi Cot, Steppke and Bett must not be used for babies once they are able to sit up unaided, kneel, pull themselves up or crawl. The other products must be adjusted to lower level or converted to toddler bed at the right ages.

18. Jurisdiction

Any disputes shall be settled according to South African law.

19. Cot safety

Please note that our furniture is manufactured with meticulous care. Each item is unique and no two items will be exactly the same. Our range is locally manufactured and made to add value to any nursery. All our compactums are made for storage and nappy changing purpose. Please do not leave your child unattended on or around the compactum. First height adjustment 0-4 months
Please drop the mattress base to the second level as soon as baby starts sitting up by himself
Second height 4-8 months
The second level may be use till baby starts standing or pulling himself up
Third height level 8-24 months
The lowest level is safe for baby until ready to be converted to a toddler bed
Toddler bed 12-36 months
The toddler bed is ideal for baby when he starts walking

20. Compactum safety
